Public Square CEO Named Notable Immigrant Leader

Crain's Cleveland Business named Public Square CEO Sanaa Julien a 2022 Notable Immigrant Leader.

Sanaa was born in Lebanon and emigrated with her parents to Cleveland as an infant.

She has been a tireless advocate for Cleveland ever since, most recently serving as the CEO of the nonprofit that runs Cleveland Public Square, the Group Plan Commission.

Sanaa says receiving the recognition is a true honor, “Thank you Crain’s for this recognition. I am proud to be an immigrant and first generation American. I represent my Lebanese heritage in all that I do while being a proud ambassador for our amazing Cleveland every day!"
